Application Recognizing the Pitch of Human Voice and Presenting the Outcome in Music Notation

The subject of the article is an application that recognizes pitch of recorded sound, including human voice. Outcome is presented in a graphical note notation. The most challenging task was using computationally slow Sun Java virtual machine.
