In the framework of direct-sequence code-division multiple-access (DS-CDMA) systems, finite-sample performance results are established for two typical data-estimated implementations of the recently proposed widely-linear minimum output-energy (WL-MOE) multiuser receiver. Specifically, the signal-to-interference-plus-noise-ratio (SINR) of the data-estimated WL-MOE receivers is accurately evaluated and compared with that of the conventional linear MOE (L-MOE) one. Simulation results are provided to validate the theoretical analysis.
