True three-dimensional display technology is a new technology with physical and psychical depth cue. With this new technology, you can create a true 3D effect. It has a wonderful apply foreground in medical image processing and visibility, such as teaching, medical diagnosis, tumors orientation, surgery navigation, and so on. Along with the improving standard of living, the need of medical technologies is increasing, so this true tree-dimension display technology has a good development in the future. Firstly, this paper introduces the development of true 3D display technology and analyzes the imaging theory of X3D display which is one of true three-dimensional display. Then reference to OpenGL and MFC programming, studied the coordinate transform in three-dimension scene and combination of true three-dimension display image. Finally, this testing achieved true tree-dimension display of medical model reconstruction with CT images.
