This article consists of presentation slides on the following subject. In this study, national technology level and the portion of publication in regional level of agriculture field were compared by assessing research performance with SCI publication. Agriculture field was divided into six subject categories of SCI DB: agricultural engineering, agriculture, dairy and animal sciences; agriculture, multidisciplinary; agriculture, soil science; agronomy; horticulture. The time period of assessment was ten years from 1996 to 2005. Several indicators were used to compare technology level by quantitatively and qualitatively: number of papers (P); citation index (CI); scientific strength (SS); specialization index (SI).
