We propose in this paper a channel estimation algorithm in MIMO-Single Carrier Frequency-Domain Equalization (MIMO-SCFDE) system over frequency-selective fading channels. In this algorithm the Pseudo-Noise (PN) sequences are employed as the pilots to estimate the Channel Impulse Responses (CIR). Performance analysis and simulation results of the algorithm show that it not only achieves better channel estimation performance within 30 dB Signal-to-Noise power Ratio (SNR), but also has lower computational complexity than the existing channel estimation algorithms used in MIMO- SCFDE systems.
