A Laboratory Course in PCM Systems

A coherent set of experiments is described that facilitates a detailed experimental study of pulse code modulation. The philosophy on which the course and associated laboratory equipment has been designed is outlined and a brief description of the work required from the students and the concepts that are illustrated is given.
