This letter develops a simple analytic approach to model the throughput for a bulk transfer of TCP Veno flow. Both simulation and live Internet experiment results demonstrate that such an equation is able to accurately predict TCP Veno throughput over LAN as well as WAN scenarios, with wired links and/or wireless links embedded.
