In this paper, a new array signal processing technique, which make use of the cross ambiguity function calculation, is proposed. Developed technique estimates direction of arrival (DOA), time delay, Doppler shift and amplitude corresponding to each impinging signal onto a sensor array in an iterative manner. Performances of the proposed technique cross ambiguity function -direction finding (CAF-DF) and multiple signal classification (MUSIC) are compared using synthetic signals in terms of root mean squared error (rMSE) for different signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) values. Success of the proposed technique is studied on the recorded multipath high-latitude ionosphere data. Results show that proposed CAF-DF technique increases the success rate considerably in separating signal sources even for low SNR values.
