This paper proposes an emotional model of virtual human in virtual environment. This model extends the sensor of traditional agent. Since the base of rational decision is perceptive and the jumping-off point of sensibility is impressibility which is the headspring of emotion, so emotional agent adds impressibility in it. Impressibility is agent's emotional representation of the states of environment and itself based the inside impression model. This paper provides the agent's impression representation method in virtual environment, considers that emotional model is a function reflected from states set to impression set, extents the traditional agent's BDI model based the emotional model, then constructs an emotional agent, compares this agent with traditional agent, points out that because the emotional agent has an independent emotional model it has the ability of creating, editing and updating the intention or goal of agent, so the emotional agent has more autonomous. This paper introduces the architecture and theory of the emotional model, explains the relative concept and definition, discusses the realize technology of this model, finally indicates the lack of current research and the direction of future research
