Service innovation has garnered great attention around the world nowadays, and researchers and professionals did lots of relevant studies. However, the understanding of risk as an imperative for service innovation is underdeveloped. Based on the reviews of the approaches in technological innovation risk, this article puts forward the concept of service innovation risk and establishes a analyzing framework in both innovation activities and process manner.
