The radiation and frequency characteristics, together with the sum and difference performance of the wave front matching (WFM) lens antenna and the shaped lens (SL) antenna are studied in this paper. The performances of these antennas are analyzed using finite element method. The Radiation pattern of these two antennas are computed and given, which show that both the antennas have low side lobe level (SLL) and good frequency characteristics. The sum and difference beams of these two antennas are also computed in this paper, numerical results show that these two lens antennas have good sum and difference performance.
