In this paper, a 3D second-order gradiometer connected to 39ch SQUIDs for magnetoencephalogram (MEG) measurement that can detect magnetic field components perpendicular (Br) and tangential to the scalp (Bthetas, Bphi) simultaneously was developed. The aim of this study is to estimate multiple sources in the brain using time-frequency analysis (wavelet transform) of 3-D SEF to different finger stimulation (thumb, fourth, and little finger).
