Structure and magnetic properties of Nd/sub 2/(Fe/sub 1-x/Co/sub x/)/sub 14/B/sub 1-y/C/sub y/ alloys

The reorientation temperature and magnetocrystalline anisotropy field (H/sub a/) of Nd/sub 2/(Fe/sub 1-x/Co/sub x/)/sub 14/B/sub 1-y/C/sub y/ in the temperature range 200-450 K were determined by AC initial susceptibility measurements and the singular point detection technique, respectively. The temperature dependence of saturation magnetization was measured on finely powdered polycrystalline samples in an extraction magnetometer in fields up to 80 kOe.
