Intermodulation interference in a TACS cellular radio scheme can be reduced if the base station multicoupler operates at 900 MHz, with transmitter frequency spacings of 200 kHz. Such a combiner, using a high-Q cavity and a circu-lator in each branch, is described. This gives a total transmitter-transmitter isolation of 75 dB for an insertion loss of 2.5 dB.
