Microwave imaging by in-line holography is demonstrated experimentally. The twin image, reference level and autocorrelation contributions to the required image are suppressed by digital processing. An extension of the technique which provides better image reconstruction is introduced. Results are compared with images obtained from direct phase and amplitude recording.
