An l.m.s. algorithm is described which sequentially adjusts the radius and angle co-ordinates of the zeros of a filter so as to minimise the output power. A cascade of second-order sections is used, with the zeros restricted to complex conjugate positions. The performance is compared with that of a ladder structure.
