Based on recent results on sum rate capacity calculation of Gaussian multi-input multi-output broadcast channels when using dirty-paper coding, a method for selection number of transmit and receive antennas and also transmit power is devised. The algorithm is developed such that the number of receive antennas and also transmit power is minimized under the condition of a given sum rate capacity of MIMO BC. The proposed method is fast and generic and benefits from convergence behavior of water-filling algorithm in various channel matrix conditions.
