In this paper, we present a two dimensional matched phase transform. For multi-component polynomial phase signals (mc-PPS) whose phase order is beyond five, their instantaneous frequency rate (IFR) will be local maxima in the transform. However their cross-terms seldom emerge as local maxima. IFR of signal component is continuous function of time, but local maxima produced by cross-terms have not this property. So one can realize the estimation of IFR of each component at all time instant by this transform. Accuracy is theoretically analyzed and compared with simulation result
