Numerical Correction of HV Impulse Deformed by the Measuring System

High voltage impulse measuring systems give an output signal that is a deformed replica of the input signal. This paper presents a method of reconstructing the input signal from the deformed output. The method retains its validity even if the input impulse is shorter than the duration of the step function response.
