A Real Time Approach for Revising Generation Unit Performance Characteristics

This paper presents a unique method for representing the performance characteristics of generation units of electric utilities. The approach utilizes digitally sampled information in an on-line environment. The resulting accuracy is superior to conventional approaches, as the true time varying nature of performance characteristics is taken into account.
