This paper studies the output feedback control for chaotic continuous-time systems whose dynamics may not be exactly known. A chaotic system is modelled based on the generalized fuzzy hyperbolic model (GFHM). A dynamic output feedback controller is designed such that the closed-loop system is asymptotic stable. All the results are presented based on the solvability of a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The effectiveness of the proposed method is shown by a simulation example.
