A server building prototype of the geographic information mobile service for different mobile terminal users, especially for the universal WAP supported mobile phones was proposed in this paper. The cooperation key technologies of agent, spatial-info agent, multi agent system architecture and the GIMS collaborative architecture design were discussed. The implementations of GIMS services running on the WAP phone simulator and short message supported phones were showed. And the future potentials of GIMS were introduced in the conclusion
