A software architecture that makes it much easier to verify the system timing properties is presented. The software architecture is based on a pre-run-time scheduling approach and is suitable for many complex real-time embedded systems. A comparison of the software architecture based on pre-run-time scheduling with software architectures based on priority scheduling is also presented
