The authors comment on stability robustness bounds for linear systems with multiple uncertain parameters which were obtained by means of Lyapunov functions. Results obtained with quadratic and with vector Lyapunov functions are compared. Simple examples are used to illustrate the effects of the choice of functions, corresponding majorizations, and system decompositions
