A user-friendly computer program has been developed that is useful in archiving and graphically plotting normalized radar cross sections (NRCS) of geophysical surfaces. The program, called FINRACS, utilizes a data base, which includes data obtained by the radar community during the past 30 years. Users can store and retrieve data according to frequency bands, polarization, incidence angle, or author name. They can compare data obtained by other investigators by overlaying the data on common plots. In addition, FINRACS accepts radar measurements read directly from a disc storage device. In this manner, we are able to compare our NRCS measurements with those made by others
