Due to energy limitation, mobile ad hoc network faces to the challenge of lifetime, wireless resource utilized efficiency and delay. Power control in mobile ad hoc networks has been the focus of extensive research. Its main objectives are to reduce the total energy consumed in packet delivery and/or increase network throughput by increasing the channel's spatial reuse. In this paper, we proposed a novel transmission power control algorithm base node's position, this algorithm uses mathematic and geometrical method to analyze the relationship between node in the NS (neighbor set), and uses fuzzy rule to find proper power to transmit data packet. This algorithm has lower complexity to carry out at nodes and achieve well network performance
