Theoretical model of magnetostochastic resonance is developed. It is shown that in the presence of noise the signal-to-noise ratio for a bistable uniaxial ferromagnetic can be a million times greater than that for a one-stable ferromagnetic. The phenomenon can be used for magnetic field measurements, detection of macroscopic quantum tunneling of magnetization and investigation of electron tunneling that depends upon magnetization
