A system of grid resource management based on mobile agent is given in this paper. An integration of mobile agent technology with grid technology is working effectively towards reducing the network traffic during the grid resource discovery and monitoring process. An introduction of the module of the architecture based on grid technology and mobile agent technology and its realization are presented first in this paper, followed by a discussion with a view of improving both the effectiveness of mobile agent transfer and the integrity of the whole system.
