Forward Link Performance for Packet Data Services of a Microcellular System Based on CDMA2000

The performance of the forward link for packet data services of a microcellular system based on the cdma2000 standard is evaluated, using static and dynamic simulations. The ideal Manhattan-like street pattern is used so two cell plans are considered: The full- and half-square cell plans. Static simulations are used to obtain capacity plots in terms of code channels as well as the coverage probability for different data rates and radio configurations (RC).
