This article presents two signal processing techniques for the analysis of intracardial electrograins in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF). The first, number of occurrences (NO), is aimed at quantifying the level of organization of the signal. The second, index of synchronization (IS), quantifies the degree of synchrony of electrograms from adjacent atrial sites.
