The paper presents a new method for source localization and array shape calibration with an array of unknown geometry. The proposed method uses as elementary sensors orthogonal acoustic dipoles which allow both array shape calibration and directions of arrival estimation for wide band signals with overlapping spectra, without any prior knowledge of sensors and sources locations. Extensive simulations with a random array of 8 sensors show that good results are obtained for wide band sources over an octave, a time bandwidth product of 4000, and a signal to noise ratio as weak as -13 dB
