This paper introduces two kinds of fuzzy logic controllers (FLC) whose rule bases only consist of two rules. Their input-output mappings are analytically well defined, and it is proved that they satisfy the same passive property, which is exploited in order to derive sufficient conditions of global asymptotic stabilization of classes of linear time invariant single input-single output systems
