The authors report the generation of 0.5 mW blue light at 430 nm by frequency doubling CW diode laser radiation in ion-implanted KNbO3 channel waveguides at room temperature with normalised conversion efficiency of 20%/W. The emission wavelength of the diode laser was kept stable by providing optical feedback from an external grating
