The performance of an uncoded frequency-hopped, M-ary frequency shift keying (FH/MFSK) communication system can be severely degraded by worst-case partial-band noise jamming (WCPBNJ). The paper demonstrates how nonlinear combining diversity, and forward error correcting (FEC) codes effectively recover most of this jamming loss
