This paper deals with the electrical issues related to the NRC Generic Letter (GL) 89-10. A brief background along with the basic design requirement of motor operated valves (MOV) is also presented. The degraded voltage impact on MOV's are discussed. Analytical and diagnostic techniques to study degraded voltage issues are presented to resolve the issues raised in GL 89-10
