Fuzzy morphology is set up by associating mathematical morphology with order statistics. Definitions of percentile operations are introduced. The relationships between Minkowski structural operation and morphology transformations are considered. Fuzzy morphologic analyses, such as construction of percentile geometric morphologic functions and extraction of morphologic feature parameters, are investigated. The application to image analysis is discussed
