The electromagnetic vibration of a three-phase squirrel-cage induction motor is examined quantitatively at no load. A simple method is proposed to quantitatively estimate the radial electromagnetic force and the vibration on the stator core. The theoretical results obtained for a practical motor agree with the experimental ones
