The performance in terms of the throughput of a slotted CDMA personal communication system is evaluated considering a hybrid slow frequency hopping/direct sequence (SFH/DS) spread spectrum transmission technique with differential phase shift keying (DPSK) modulation and selection diversity. The effects of multi-user interference and multiple resolvable paths on the performance for slow Rician fading channel are investigated.
