Boresight pointing calibration of communication satellite through in-orbit antenna tests

A method of identifying the boresight direction of the antenna without ambiguity by analyzing the approximately measured in-orbit antenna test data is presented. The method has successfully been used in calibrating the boresight pointing of two satellites. Typical test results are presented.<
