Some new error-correcting (d,k) trellis codes for clock extraction on bandwidth limited channels

Five new codes are suitable for use on channels where certain input constraints are imposed on the codestream. The construction techniques for these codes are presented. The codes were evaluated by determination of their bit error rates on the binary symmetric channel and measurement of their power spectral densities.<
