For the original article see ibid., vol. 39, no. 7, p. 1120-25 (1991).In this paper, Chow et al. have presented a useful idea for the electrostatic problem, where they introduced the concept of complex image to compute the electrostatic potential function in multilayered media. However, the commenters believe that there are some defects, which will affect the values obtained by the method. They list these defects and provide the necessary corrections.<>
