The commenters offer a counterexample to the results presented by W. Yue (see ibid., vol.39, no.6, p.818-22, June 1991) concerning the effect of capture on multichannel slotted ALOHA. A simplified deterministic capture is assumed by Yue. Numerical results show that the actual average throughput is much higher than that obtained by Yue for the same parameters.<>
