The authors address two different communication problems in multiprocessor systems: all-to-all broadcast communication and one-to-all personalized communication. The networks selected for study are the torus and grid networks. New algorithms are presented for both the all-to-all broadcast and one-to-all personalized communication problems on the torus and grid networks
