The performance of resonant channel-dropping filters in wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) applications is computed. 31 and 50 filters are cascaded along a single bus with crosstalks of -27 and -14 dB, respectively. The temporal response of the filter for a secant-hyperbolic pulse stream at 400 Mb/s and 1 Gb/s is presented. The simulation shows the promise of resonant-filter cascades.
