An interdisciplinary curriculum in electronics and computer engineering

The details of programs in electronics engineering and in computer engineering at the undergraduate level are presented in this paper. Among the characteristics these two programs have are: (1) satisfaction of requirements imposed by the society, local industry, and academic institutions at a regional level; (2) research involving both faculty and undergraduate students; and (3) emphasis placed the use of computers throughout the program. A case study in industrial electronics is presented as an example.<
