An error evaluation method for a current transformer (CT) test system using a current comparator is described, and evaluated results of the CT test system are given. The CT test system is designed for use at power frequencies, and at winding ratios of 1:1 to 20:200 with in-phase and quadrature errors of less than 1 ppm and 2 μrad, respectively, over this range
