A soft sensor grey-modeling considering the oxygen content in the coal-fired power plant is introduced. Experiments show that the grey-model has the evident advantages over the traditional multi-variation linear regressive and ANN models in predicting oxygen-content. Thus the grey-model based soft sensor is of important significance for the economical burning in the coal-fired power plant
