This paper presents a simplified approach for determining the absolute values of mutual impedance between half-wave dipoles in parallel and collinear orientations. The author feels justified in making simplifying assumptions because of two reasons, namely: (1) The results under this method are in close agreement with those under more exact methods; (2) under an exact method, the process of determning the absolute values of mutual impedance is quite complicated and time consuming.
