The impedance matching between the coaxial Marx generator and the beam diode is investigated by using SPICE model simulations. By changing the value of the resistive load, the impedance of the coaxial Marx generator can be determined and by employing the analog behavioral modeling (ABM) of the diode in the SPICE simulation, the I-V characteristics of the high voltage diode driven by the coaxial Marx generator can be studied. The output voltage waveform, V-t curve, of the high voltage diode driven by the coaxial Marx generator and the corresponding output current waveform, I-t curve, can be calculated efficiently
