The approach for filling the learning process in electronics and microelectronics studies by teaching for understanding properties using open training CAD tools is presented. Teaching for understanding in electronics and microelectronics is rather pedagogic art than academic work. Significant efforts and inventiveness are required to adhere the teaching for understanding concept in these subjects.
